Milliwatt order UV, visible, infrared, and white LED light output from fiber.

FOLS-01 is an ultra-compact LED light source that integrates output fiber, LED elements, drive circuits, and power supply. By simply turning on the power, it immediately outputs LED light from the fiber end. Since it uses LED light, it does not produce interference fringes or speckles. The LED elements allow for wavelength selection according to application from white, UV, visible, and infrared ranges. It is also possible to achieve strobe emission through an external TTL trigger input. The output fiber can be selected from a 600μm core multi-component fiber for high output or a 200μm core multi-component fiber for obtaining a micro beam.
